Freud 6-1/2x24T Framing Blade 3-Pack

The Freud D0624X3 3-pack delivers professional-grade 6-1/2” framing blades with Tracking Point™ tooth design that acts as a ‘rudder’ for straighter cuts and doubles carbide surface area for impact resistance. Worth it for framers and remodelers who need 2x greater durability in nail-embedded wood versus conventional blades and up to 65% more cuts per battery charge on cordless saws.

Skip it if you’re running a corded saw all day on clean lumber. The super-thin kerf design reduces motor load and material waste, optimized for cordless circular saws — that efficiency matters less when you’ve got unlimited plug-in power.

Tracking Point™ Changes the Game

The tooth design sets this blade apart. Tracking Point™ tooth design acts as a ‘rudder’ for straighter cuts and doubles carbide surface area for impact resistance. That doubled carbide surface translates directly to 2x greater durability in nail-embedded wood.

Real-world impact: 5x longer cutting life compared to standard framing blades. On Montana jobsites where you’re cutting through old lumber full of embedded fasteners during remodels, that durability advantage pays for itself fast.

The engineering backs it up. Tri-metal shock-resistant brazing allows carbide tips to withstand extreme impact. Combined with laser-cut stabilizer vents [that] reduce vibration and heat buildup, you get a blade that runs cooler and tracks straighter through tough cuts.

Built for Battery-Powered Reality

Cordless dominates Montana jobsites — especially on remote builds without temp power. These blades address that reality with up to 65% more cuts per battery charge on cordless saws compared to competing blades.

The 0.059” super-thin kerf drives that efficiency. Less material removal means less motor strain, which translates to extended runtime when you’re miles from the nearest outlet. The 18° hook angle provides aggressive feeding without bogging down smaller motors.

Perma-Shield™ non-stick coating protects the blade against heat, gumming, and corrosion. That coating matters when you’re cutting pressure-treated lumber all day — the chemicals and moisture that destroy standard blades just wipe off.

3-Pack Economics Make Sense

The 3-pack (D0624X3) typically offers up to 10% cost savings over purchasing single blades (D0624X). Simple math for contractors who burn through blades.

3 x 6-1/2” 24-Tooth Framing Blades come in the box. All identical D0624X blades — no mixing specs or quality tiers. Keep one on the saw, one in the truck, one in the shop. When blade #1 finally gives up after months of abuse, you’ve got a fresh replacement ready.

TiCo™ High-Density Carbide composition handles the temperature extremes and material variety Montana throws at you. From frozen lumber in January to sun-baked OSB in August, the carbide formula maintains its edge.

FAQ

What saws work with these blades? Compatible with 6-1/2” Corded Circular Saws [and] 6-1/2” Cordless Circular Saws. The 5/8” standard arbor [with] diamond knockout means they’ll fit any major brand — Universal (Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt, etc.). Compatible with worm drive saws via diamond knockout.

What materials can these cut? Built for 2x Lumber, Pressure-treated wood, Hardwoods, Softwoods, OSB (Oriented Strand Board), Plywood, [and] Laminated beams. Primary applications include Framing, Remodeling, Demolition, [and] General Construction.

How long is the warranty? Diablo (Freud) provides a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. Standard coverage for carbide blade defects — doesn’t cover normal wear or damage from improper use.

Are these actually made by Freud or Diablo? Same company. Diablo (by Freud) branding appears on packaging. Precision-made in Italy like all Freud carbide products.

Do the stabilizer vents actually reduce noise? Laser-cut stabilizer vents reduce vibration and heat buildup for quieter, more stable operation. The vents work — less screaming through cuts, less wobble at high RPM. Not silent, but noticeably smoother than solid-body blades.
